Refund policy
At The Slan, we take pride in creating premium-quality metal wall art and décor products. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please review our return and refund policy below for orders in India and European countries.
1. Return Eligibility
India
Customers in India may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
European Countries
Customers in European countries may request a return within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in original condition.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Customized or personalized products
- Made-to-order artworks
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper installation
- Clearance or final-sale items
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
If you receive:
- a damaged item,
- defective product,
- or wrong product,
please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- clear photos/videos of the product,
- packaging images,
- and your order number.
After verification, we may offer:
- a replacement,
- partial refund,
- store credit,
- or full refund depending on the issue.
4. Return Shipping
India
- If the return is due to our mistake (wrong or damaged item), we will arrange or cover the return shipping.
- For other return reasons, return shipping charges may be borne by the customer.
European Countries
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received is defective or incorrect.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost return parcels.
5. Refund Process
Once the returned product is received and inspected:
- Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Order Cancellation
- Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of placing the order.
- Customized or made-to-order products cannot be canceled once production has started.
7. Customs Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
For European and other international orders:
- Import duties, VAT, customs fees, or local taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer.
- These charges are non-refundable.
